Atul Kumar Gupta Stepped Down From The Board Of Poonawalla Fincorp

Atul Kumar Gupta, Independent Director of Poonawalla Fincorp Limited, stepped down from the Board of Directors on December 09, 2024. Consequently, Gupta will also cease to be a member of the Board’s committees.

Gupta is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He was the President of ICAI for the term 2020-21. In his career, he has held various roles, including Chairman of the ICAI Accounting Research Foundation and Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) India. Additionally, he served as a Director on the Governing Board of the Indian Institute of Insolvency Professionals and the Registered Valuers Organisation. He has also been a member of the Government Accounting Standards Advisory Board (GASAB), the Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority (IRDA), and SEBI’s Primary Market Advisory Committee. He is a council member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and XBRL International.
