Arundhati Bhattacharya Reappointed as the Independent Director of RIL

Reliance Industries Limited announced the Reappointment of Independent Director Arundhati Bhattacharya up to October 16, 2028.Arundhati Bhattacharya has more than 40 years of rich and varied experience and insights into the banking industry and its related technology. During her tenure as the chairperson of SBI, she introduced sabbatical leave for female bank employees. The government has nominated her to key Committees, such as the Lokpal Search Committee, Padma Awards Selection Committee, SEBI’s Mutual Fund Advisory Committee and National Coal Index Committee. Her interests include reading and travel. She is also associated and working with various initiatives and institutions for empowering the challenged and the differently abled to integrate them into our society. Currently, she leads India operations of Salesforce, a global leader in Customer relationship management software. She is a postgraduate in English and an Associate Member of the Indian Institute of Bankers
