Ajay Vij & Sandeep Dutta will take over as Rekha M. Menon retires from Accenture India
Rekha M. Menon, Senior Managing Director and Chairperson for Accenture in India, is retiring after serving the company for 20 years. Accenture has announced new leadership for India, with Ajay Vij taking over as the Country Managing Director and Sandeep Dutta becoming the leader of Accenture’s India Market Unit. Menon played a crucial role in expanding Accenture’s business and establishing relationships with key stakeholders in the country. She also championed the company’s inclusion and diversity agenda and pioneered the India corporate citizenship strategy.
As the new Country Managing Director, Ajay Vij will lead Accenture’s key company priorities and drive overall leadership and coordinated decision-making. Sandeep Dutta, who was previously the India Sales Lead, will be responsible for driving business and operations within the domestic market and representing Accenture in local industry and trade associations.
Accenture’s Chief Executive Officer for Growth Markets, Leonardo Framil, expressed his gratitude for Menon’s leadership and congratulated Vij and Dutta on their new responsibilities.
