Aditi Parekh takes over as FLO Ahmedabad Chairperson
Aditi Parekh, the Founder, and CEO of Fashion Edit India, has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Ahmedabad Chapter of FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) for the year 2023-24. FLO is the oldest women-centric business chamber in South East Asia and has around 3,000 businesswomen as members across its 19 chapters in India. Ms. Parekh takes over from Dr. Rachna Gemawat as the 14th Chairperson of the FLO Ahmedabad Chapter. She aims to encourage and facilitate women entrepreneurs by showcasing their talents, skills, and experiences at various forums, supporting women-led startups, and ensuring greater participation and contribution of women in contributing to the economic progress of both the state and the nation. Under Ms. Parekh’s leadership, FLO Ahmedabad Chapter will focus on women’s education and skill development, legal and policy advocacy, women in leadership roles, and the growth of women-led businesses at grassroots levels. She was also the Founder Chairperson of the Young FICCI Ladies Organisation in Ahmedabad in 2016, a platform for young women from diverse backgrounds to interact, learn, and explore new avenues. YFLO has over 200 members in Ahmedabad today. Ms. Parekh’s venture, Fashion Edit India, is a luxury fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform. For nearly two decades, she has been involved with family-owned businesses in ports, logistics, real estate, and hospitality.
