Adani Ent’s Independent Director Narendra Mairpady Steps Down

Narendra Mairpady has ceased to be an Independent Director of Adani Enterprises Limited, with effect from November 30, 2023. He completed two terms as a Board member, aggregating to six years.

Narendra Mairpady continues to serve as an Independent Director on the Board of the pharma company IPCA Laboratories Limited, where he sits on the Audit Committee as well as the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

As an Independent Director of Equippp Social Impact Technologies Limited, he chairs the Audit Committee and Stakeholders’ Relationship Committee. At Equippp, he is also a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

He also serves as an Independent Director of Kesar Enterprises Limited and Man Industries (India) Limited.

Narendra Mairpady retired as the Chairman and Managing Director of Indian Overseas Bank in 2014. A banker for four decades, he also served as an Executive Director of the Bank of India and a CGM of Corporation Bank.
