Abhilash Lal and Anil Kumar Bansal Retired As Independent Directors of APL Apollo Tubes

Abhilash Lal and Anil Kumar Bansal have completed their second term of five years as Independent Directors of APL Apollo Tubes Limited, with effect from September 27, 2024.

Abhilash Lal has three decades of experience across financial services. With a background in business development, strategy, and operations, he has held top leadership positions in the banking, consulting, real estate, and private equity industries. Abhilash graduated from IIM Bangalore with a postgraduate degree and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Anil Kumar Bansal has worked in the finance industry for more than 40 years. His career as a leader includes important positions in prestigious financial firms. After overseeing North Zone operations for 36 years as General Manager of Union Bank, he was appointed Executive Director of Indian Overseas Bank. As an Independent Director at NABARD, CARE Ratings, and Canara HSBC OBC Life Insurance Company, he still makes contributions to the sector today.
