CCPA Sends Third Letter To Ola Electric, Raising Regulatory Concerns

Ola Electric faces increasing regulatory scrutiny with a third letter from India’s consumer rights regulator, the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA).

The January 10, 2025, request for information comes after an earlier letter dated December 4, 2024. While the company did not reveal the specific information being sought, it assured stakeholders that there were no financial consequences related to the request. Ola Electric had previously been granted an extension by the Karnataka High Court in January 2024 to respond to an earlier CCPA notice.
