Gillette India Appoints Anjuly Chib Duggal As Chairperson, Sanjay Ashar As New Independent Director

The Board of Directors of Gillette India Limited has approved the appointment of Anjuly Chib Duggal, Independent Director, as Chairperson of the Board effective September 29, 2024.

The Board of Directors of Gillette India Limited has approved the appointment of Sanjay Asher as Non-Executive Independent Director for five years with effect from September 29, 2024. Subject to the approval of the shareholders of the company.

The company further announced the retirements of Gurcharan Das as Independent Director and Chairperson, Chittaranjan Dua, and Anil Kumar Gupta as Independent Director w.e.f. September 28, 2024.

Sanjay Asher is presently a Senior Partner with M/s. Crawford Bayley & Co. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He has been a noted speaker at various seminars and conferences, including those organised by ICAI and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He has authored several publications in national and international publications, including a book on the Companies Act, 2013, which was published by CCH. He has been a practicing advocate since 1991 and was admitted as a solicitor in the year 1993. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Bombay.
