Mangalam Cement Reappoints Kamal Chand Jain As Independent Director

The Board of Directors of Mangalam Cement Limited has approved the reappointment of Kamal Chand Jain as Non-Executive Independent Director for five years with effect from September 19, 2024. Subject to approval of the shareholder of the company.

Nand Gopal Khaitan, Gaurav Goel, and Aruna Makhan have ceased to be Directors on completion of their second term of office as Independent Director w.e.f. September 9, 2024.

Kamal Chand Jain is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), and he served as a full-time director of Kesoram Industries Ltd. He has 48 years of experience in the cement business. For the previous 34 years, he has served as a member of the Cement Manufacturers’ Association’s (CMA) Managing Committee. From 1996 until 2012, he also served as the company’s Managing Director.
