Ghanshyam Dass, Radhika Dudhat, and Dr. H.P. Singh Step Down as Independent Directors of Jain Irrigation
Ghanshyam Dass, Radhika Dudhat, and Harish Chandra Prasad Singh have completed their second five-year term as Non-executive Independent Directors and ceased to be Directors of Jain Irrigation Systems Limited as of the close of business on August 16, 2024, following the conclusion of the 37th Annual General Meeting.
Ghanshyam Dass is an advisor to Intel Capital and holds several notable positions, including being a member of the Association of Biotech-Led Enterprises (ABLE), the Hardware Task Force, and the CII National Council on Corporate Governance. He is also a founding member of the Association of Outsourcing Professionals (AOP), a member of the Academic Council of Union Bank School of Management, and serves on the governing council of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) as a government nominee. Additionally, Dass is a member of the Brickwork Ratings Committee and Vice President of the Karnataka Athletics Association.
Dr. Harish Chandra Prasad Singh is a former Deputy Director General (Horticulture) at ICAR (2007–2012). He has held several key positions, such as Vice-Chancellor at RAU, Pusa, Bihar (2005–2007), Dean of the College of Agriculture at Pantnagar (2004–2005), Horticulture Commissioner at the Ministry of Agriculture (1997–2003), Chairman of the Coconut Development Board, and Director of the National Research Centre on Banana. He currently serves as the founder and Chairman of the Confederation of Horticulture Associations of India (CHAI).
Radhika Dudhat Pereira is a Partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., specialising in regulatory advisory, real estate, intellectual property rights, project financing, corporate advisory, and legal risk management. She was part of the core committee established by the Government of Maharashtra to advise on legal issues related to privatization. Additionally, Radhika studies and speaks about Indian Shastras.
