Gokaldas Exports’ Independent Director Shivanandan Dalvie Resigned

Shivanandan Ashok Dalvie, Independent Director of Gokaldas Exports Limited, has tendered his resignation on July 8, 2024, due to personal reasons.

Dalvie is the founder of Cotton Tree Management Limited. Before establishing Cotton Tree, he was a partner at AEA Investors. During his two-decade-long tenure at AEA, he spearheaded investments in various industries, including consumer, industrial, technology, media, and business services. He joined AEA in New York in 1997 and later moved to Hong Kong in 2007 to lead the firm’s Asian operations. Prior to his role at AEA, he worked in the mergers and acquisitions group at Credit Suisse First Boston in New York, advising a diverse range of international clients. He also served as a Product Manager at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond and held an executive position at ChrysCapital in Mumbai. He holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Computer Science and Economics with Honours from Yale University.
