Manjushree Khaitan, Chairperson of Kesoram Industries Passed Away

Manjushree Khaitan, Chairperson of Kesoram Industries Limited passed away at 69 in Kolkata on Thursday, May 16, 2024.

Khaitan became the Chairperson of Kesoram Industries following her father’s death in July 2019. As a trustee of the Ashok Hall Group of Schools, which includes institutions like Ashok Hall, GD Birla Centre for Education, Mahadevi Birla Shishu Vihar, and Little Step School, she was deeply committed to educating girls, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. She also made significant contributions to the arts through the Birla Academy of Fine Arts, supporting various artists. She was known for encouraging an investment culture among students, often inviting them to Kesoram Industries’ annual general meetings.
