Kalyani Forge Appoints Viraj Gaurishankar Kalyani as Managing Director

Viraj Gaurishankar Kalyani has received shareholders’ approval for appointment as the Managing Director of Kalyani Forge Limited on September 20, 2023.

Viraj Kalyani joined the Kalyani Forge in the year 2012 as an Executive Vice President and contributed to expansion plans, business systems and research for potential new business opportunities and diversification. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer of the company from January 29, 2020, till October 28, 2021. He was serving as an Executive Director of the Company from May 17, 2013, till May 16, 2018, and was reappointed as an Executive Director on May  15, 2019. He is a Graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he completed the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology and completed a 4-year dual degree program with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Concentration in Finance at the Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Major in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Science.
