Infosys Appoints Helene Auriol Potier as Independent Director

Infosys, a renowned global leader in digital services and consulting, has announced the appointment of Helene Auriol Potier as an Independent Director, effective from May 26, 2023. The appointment is for a three-year term.

With extensive experience spanning the United States, Europe, Africa, and Asia, Helene Auriol Potier has built a distinguished career in digital technologies and the telecommunications industry. She began her telecommunications career in New York in 1986 and later joined Nortel Networks Corporation, a Canadian mobile technology company, where she held several senior leadership positions for 15 years, including Vice President Sales Mobile Division Worldwide and Vice President Services & Operations EMEA.

In 2005, Helene joined Dell Inc., serving as the CEO for Africa, Mediterranean, and CEE regions. She further expanded her expertise at Microsoft Corporation, where she spent a decade in various senior leadership capacities, including CEO of Microsoft Singapore and Managing Director of Artificial Intelligence Europe. During the period from November 2018 to December 2020, Helene Auriol Potier served as the Executive Vice-President in charge of International Business B2B at Orange.

Helene Auriol Potier is widely recognized as a speaker on topics such as digital transformation, corporate governance, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). She has served as an independent director on the boards of companies like Mimecast Limited, Ipsen S.A., and Faiveley Transport S.A. Helene Auriol Potier holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering from Telecom Paris, as well as an Executive MBA from INSEAD.

Currently, Helene serves as an independent non-executive director on the boards of Safran S.A., Accor S.A., Randstad N.V., and Oddo BHF S.C.A. She chairs the Accor board’s ESG committee and the Oddo BHF board’s compensation committee. In addition, Helene Auriol Potier holds positions as the ESG co-chair and board member at InstitutFrançais des Administrateurs (IFA), which is the French association of corporate directors.
